The Car Guys do not require a holding deposit on any vehicle we have for sale. If you are purchasing using our in house finance then we can withdraw your chosen vehicle from sale - no problem.

The majority of our customers use our in house lending as we are confident we can cover all types of profile from the best to the worst. You are also able to carry out a direct bank transfer into our bank account.

Each individual credit search that is carried out against your name does reduce you overall score slightly. Our partner broker CarPow carry out their own search and so use this for all of their lending options greatly reducing the numbers carried out.
Yes, our loans are assessed on an affordability basis, we just need to make sure that there is enough surplus left over after expenses.

Selling your car to The Car Guys
Simply bring it into the yard and our sales team will appraise your vehicle. If you are not local give our friendly sales team a call, we will need good quality photos of the outside and inside of the vehicle and a VTNZ or AA inspection competed on the vehicle.
Offers are valid for 7 days and are conditional on the vehicle being in the same condition at the time of the offer being made.
Yes, for a fee we can arrange to have the vehicle picked up from your home and transported to our yard once purchased.
Upon acceptance of our conditions we will arrange transfer of funds for your vehicle the same day. Bank clearing is usually completed at 5.30pm
Yes absolutely - we are always purchasing new stock .
The concept behind our buy your trade scheme is to offer a higher amount than that offered from a competitor or alternative dealership.
Yes we can still purchase your vehicle if there is money still owing on it. You will need to provide a settlement statement from your finance company confirming the balance owing.
